Google Web Elements

July 5th 2009 05:06
I was recently reading some tech news over at Google news, when I came across this article about a new Google product! Its called Google Web Elements. And basically its all in the title, Google has produced some of its most used products into to these elements, which can very easily be customized and used on a blog or site or profile. All you have to do is choose an element, pick a topic, and copy and paste code. As of right now the elements that are included would be, Google Calendar, Conversation, Custom Search, Maps, News, Presentations, Spreadsheets and YouTube news. And in the FAQs there is some hint of more to come in the future. Which can be very useful to all us bloggers website owners out there wanting to add some legit 3rd party custom content.

Cha Cha

June 12th 2009 00:49
I stumbled upon this new mobile search service called ChaCha. Where you can ask just about any question and text it to ChaCha (242-242). Users can ask up to four question per week, but users can still use their new ThmbSavrs program with no limits. Which the program is little like Google's mobile service but with around 50 or so abbreviations that can give you anywhere from stock quotes to current weather, or some new pick lines. Plus their always adding more it seems like. But what is very different about this severvice is that when a users asks a question. There is actually someone on the other end, that searches for an answer and texts the user back within 1-3 minutes. Depending on the type of question. And these people actually get paid to answer questions too. Along with texting a user can call ChaCha too at (1.800.224.2242).
